Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of 40x20.profive.academy and all courses, the Futsalpedia exercise library, training sessions and related services (the "Services"), operated by Albert Sabaté Armengol, trading as Profive Academy ("we", "us"). By creating an account, starting a free trial, or purchasing a subscription or course, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

Profive Academy is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Albert Sabaté Armengol, based in Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan. Contact: [email protected].

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your country if higher, to create an account or make a purchase. By using the Services you confirm this is the case and that the information you provide us is accurate.

3. Free trial

We may offer a free trial (currently 7 days) giving you access to selected courses, the Futsalpedia and a sample of other content. The trial does not require a credit card and no charge is ever made automatically. When the trial period ends, your access to trial content simply ends — if you want continued access, you must actively choose to purchase a subscription.

4. Membership, pricing and payment

• Our membership is a recurring subscription (monthly or annual, as selected at checkout) that gives access to all courses, the Futsalpedia and training sessions for as long as it remains active.
• Current prices are shown on our pricing page before you pay. We may change prices for future billing cycles; we will notify active subscribers in advance of any increase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
• Individual courses purchased outside the membership include 12 months of access from the purchase date, with free updates during that period.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for; we do not provide partial or prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period.

EU/UK right of withdrawal: if you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the law normally gives you 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Because our Services consist of digital content and services delivered immediately upon payment, and because you can fully evaluate the Services beforehand through our free trial, by completing a paid purchase you expressly request immediate access to the digital content and expressly acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once access to the content has begun, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

• Your account is personal and non-transferable; do not share your login with others.
• You may not copy, resell, redistribute, publicly share or create derivative works from our courses, videos, exercises or diagrams without our prior written consent.
• You may use downloaded materials (handouts, diagrams) for your own coaching activity, including with your team or club.
• Discussions and comments must be respectful; we may remove content or suspend accounts that are abusive, unlawful, or infringe others' rights.

7. Intellectual property

All courses, videos, exercises, diagrams, text and other materials on the Services are owned by Albert Sabaté Armengol / Profive Academy and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Purchasing a course or subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own coaching education — it does not transfer ownership of that content to you.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Services and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, without refund, if you breach these Terms — including sharing your account, redistributing our content, or abusive behaviour toward other users or our team.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is". We do not guarantee any specific coaching or sporting results from using our method. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of your use of the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live, which continue to apply and cannot be waived by this clause. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you can also access the EU's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Any dispute not resolved informally may be brought before the competent courts, subject to the mandatory rights described above.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email or through a notice on the site before the changes take effect.
